Terms of use
Last updated: October 17, 2026
These terms govern the use of the Universal Connect website. By using the website, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. Purpose of the website
The website presents the services of Universal Connect (landing pages, websites, apps and indie games), examples of our work and a form to request a quote.
2. Quotes and projects
Quote requests are free and with no commitment. The information on the website is provided for guidance only. A project only begins once a written agreement between you and Universal Connect sets out its scope, price, timeline and terms. In case of any difference, that agreement prevails over the content of the website.
3. Work shown
The projects shown are work and demonstrations by Universal Connect. Projects labelled "demo" are mockups meant to illustrate our skills; the names, figures and data they contain are fictitious.
4. Intellectual property
The text, logo, images and code of the website belong to Universal Connect unless otherwise stated, and may not be reproduced without permission. Earth imagery comes from the NASA Earth Observatory (public domain). The Sora and DM Sans fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the website or its form to send unlawful, misleading or malicious content, not to send automated submissions and not to attempt to disrupt the operation or security of the website.
6. Liability
We do our best to keep the website accurate, up to date and available, but cannot guarantee it at all times. To the extent permitted by law, Universal Connect is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the website or its unavailability. Nothing in these terms limits the rights granted to you by Québec's Consumer Protection Act.
7. External links
The website contains links to third-party websites, such as Instagram. We do not control their content and are not responsible for it.
8. Personal information
How we handle your personal information is described in our privacy policy.
9. Changes
We may change these terms at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its update date.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Québec.
